Public speaking anxiety affects over 40% of the population. At some time or another, we all have to do it, though. Knowing tips and tricks to effective public speaking can dramatically help the speaker boost their confidence. Public speaking skills have many direct benefits for the individual speaker, including influencing the world around you, developing leadership skills, and becoming a go-to person for ideas and solutions. Girls will learn how their breathing, planning, posture, tone, and pronunciation affect their speech. We cover confident body language, mannerisms, and using practical visual aids in their speaking engagements. This workshop has fun activities and games that make even the shyest Cadette come out of her shell.
